Channelofhealing (COH) is an online ministry where the Word of God is shared with all of God’s people. Channelofhealing is a Christian Blog about Jesus Christ, His Kingdom, His eternal Love… And All Things Holy. Channelofhealing is a “God centered” blog

Channelofhealing is a blog that boldly Proclaims the Gospel of Christ unequivocally.

The Name Channelofhealing may not sound like your regular blog Title but the Name actually was from the first book my husband, Lucky wrote. I didn’t know I was going to start a blog with the title some years later.

Now the Purpose of the blog is

To share the Gospel/good news of Christ

To be an end time Disciple for Christ and also a watchman for Christ even as the Lord has commanded me to be.

To share my Christian walk with others

To offer my life as a living Sacrifice to the Glory of God.

Am not claiming any Superior knowledge in the word of God, or have some PhD degree in theology. One thing is for sure… I love the Lord and everybody that loves God is my FRIEND.

This is so hard for me to do first of all I am a little bit confused as to what I should or should not write down, cos am not a writer who knows how to play with words. I have been vacillating for a quite some time now… I keep asking this question "Good Lord, do I have to tell the world my story"? what’s to tell? who cares to listen to what I have to say? I know for sure that when God sends you on an assignment, you don’t have to look at it from the human/self perspective. "God knows my story is not sweet to tell , left alone to me I wouldn’t say anything" BUT I know that whatever God wants me to do that I have no choice but to obey. even if it is for only the person that God wants to touch by it… I shall be most humbled and I pray that it Happens in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.

Maybe few of you know this but will say it anyway’s,  this month of April (2008) is the 1st Anniversary of this blog Channelofhealing it is been one Great Holy Experience for me to say the least, I never knew I’d one day have so many friends all over the world who would even read my blog. . . let alone comment on the blog, and have such great relationships with some, I never knew I’d make friends online too in the process of blogging to the Glory of God… I give all the Glory to Jesus the Author and Finisher of my faith, Father God! Father! I in no ways want to ascribe any Glory to myself but to you Oh Lord be all Glory and Honor  in Jesus Mighty Name Amen I pray. . . Thank You Holy Spirit

Starting and maintaining  this blog was not easy at first, I really had it tough at first being an African and all the names we are being called by the World, I thought it would be difficult being accepted at first. as God would  have it… I now have great Friends in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. Also I had to learn everything from scratch like most of us who maintain blogs that means many sleepless nights and less time spent with family but all the same it’s been a wonderful experience for me. Praise God!!!

Secondly when  I started this blog I was a little bit worried if I should use the blog as a portal for evangelism I.e "Preaching the Word of God alone"… or should I just share thoughts and stories about God and all that concerns Christianity? or should it just be jokes and quotes, all I wanted then was to have people come read the blog. So I went to the Lord to ask for a format and the Lord told me to do it all … so that settled that for me. further down the line I found out that our cultures and traditions are different . I started seeing Christianity from  everyone’s point of view without me pushing my views as the most correct. As God would have it I started learning on the job and gained empirical knowledge by making some mistakes of my own… I have come to learn and appreciate God and everything this blog stands for, through many experiences shared and observed over time.

when I mean overtime as God would have it, I will give you few examples like there was one particular day a lady from Yahoo Answers ”I was pretty active there then " she visited this blog and dropped a comment on a short story post and she sent me an email telling me how she loved the blog and bookmarked it for her whole family that she would only visited blogs with Short Stories /Parables that if she wanted to listen to preaching she would go to Church on Sundays and get that… (I thought to myself maybe she is right!)  then my sister was after the Jokes and then I had some visitors who preferred the Quotes and One liners while so many preferred the Pictures so I now knew God had really told me to include all so that there would be something for everybody and in the end fellowship with the brethren is all this blog is about. Praise God!!!

Now to the matter at Hand I was instructed by the Holy Spirit to tell my story at the one year Anniversary of the blog so I would try to give you all my esteemed friends and visitors the short version as possible. .. and as soon as possible too. . .
